Our History
V&A Coatings Established
V&A Coatings established by Vic Davies and Adrian Llewellyn Jones securing a large project with Shell Garages to re-coat petrol pumps on their forecourts.
Vanda Coatings purchase Electrostatics Ltd
Vanda Coatings purchase Electrostatics Ltd in Newton Le Willows. A specialist company that has provided electrostatic spraying in the UK since 1990.
Larger Premises
We move to new larger premises. Since then we have slowly grown to the company we are today. Focusing on a quality service we have expanded our services to other areas.
Present Day
We continue to provide specialist spraying. Despite the Covid-19 pandemic hitting we continue to research methods of spraying and coating products to see if there are new services that we can provide to our customers.
Our People
Andrew
For over two decades, Andrew was the driving force behind our company's success. His journey with us began with a bold management buyout, transforming our business into a family affair. He welcomed his niece and nephew into the fold, turning our enterprise into a true family business. Andrew's profound knowledge of paint and coatings was the cornerstone of our expertise. Beyond his business acumen, he was also a character, infusing our work with a unique blend of professionalism and personality. Andrew's legacy is not just about leadership; it's about the heart and soul of our company. He will be sorely missed.
Anthony
Anthony has worked at Vanda Coatings or V&A Coatings as it was called then since 2000.
Starting as a sales and marketing assistant then progressing into estimating. He has a keen interest in marketing and especially digital marketing.
He has a NEBOSH certificate in health and safety and has been quoting projects for over fifteen years.
Liz
Liz joined the company from Sainsbury’s management team. Bringing a wealth of experience in administration and HR. Liz heads up the running of projects on site.
Craig
Craig came on board from Electrostatics in 2003 and is now contracts director for the company. Craig has used an Electrostatic spray machine for over twenty years and is vastly experienced in other methods. Craig regularly visits sites throughout the UK to survey and price work.
Emma
Emma joined the company as a marketing executive from media Wales. Emma is part of the projects and estimating team.
